Play with a special 48-card deck — where your 21 always beats the dealer. At 66be, RTP is 99.59%, with special payouts and Match the Dealer bet.
Spanish 21 is a special variant of blackjack that first launched in American casinos in 1995. Despite the name "Spanish," it didn't originate in Spain — it's called that because the game uses a historical Spanish deck with no 10-rank cards.
In standard blackjack, if both dealer and player hit 21, it's a Push (tie)—no one wins. But in Spanish 21, the player's 21 always wins, even if the dealer also has 21. This one rule makes the game far more attractive.
An even bigger reason to play Spanish 21 at 66be is the added action. You can Double Down at any card count, Double after Split, and earn special payouts for hitting 21 with five cards. Regular blackjack doesn't offer this much flexibility.
These payouts don't exist in standard blackjack

The Complete Spanish 21 Guide
Select your chip and place it in the Bet box. You can also add an optional Match the Dealer side bet. Then click the Deal button.
You receive two cards (both face-up), dealer gets two (one up, one down). Check your total.
Hit (take another card), Stand (hold), Double Down (double bet + one card), Split (break pairs), or Surrender.
The dealer reveals their hole card. The dealer hits on Soft 17. You win if your hand is higher or the dealer busts.
The most popular side bet in Spanish 21 is Match the Dealer (MTD). In this bet, you predict that one or both of your hole cards will match the dealer's upcard. It has no connection to the outcome of the main game.
At 66be, Match the Dealer pays extra when ranks match, and even more when suits match. When both rank and suit match, you get the maximum payout.
| Match the Dealer scenarios | Payout |
|---|---|
| One card matched (rank, different suit) | 4:1 |
| One card matched (rank & suit) | 9:1 |
| Two cards matched (rank, different suit) | 8:1 |
| Two cards matched (rank & suit) | 18:1 |
| One suit matched, one rank matched (mixed) | 12:1 |
Example: your MTD bet is BDT 500
With correct strategy, RTP can reach up to 99.59%
Hard 8 or lower — always Hit. Hard 9 — Double if dealer shows 3-6, otherwise Hit. Hard 10/11 — Double most of the time (Hit if dealer's upcard is high). Hard 17+ — always Stand.
Soft 13–15—always Hit. Soft 16–17—Double if dealer shows 4-6, otherwise Hit. Soft 18—Double if dealer shows 3-6, Stand on dealer 2 or 7-8, Hit if dealer shows 9-A.
Aces—always Split. 8-8—Split if dealer shows 7 or less. 9-9—Split unless dealer shows 7, 10, or A. Never split 5-5—Double or Hit instead.
Use the Late Surrender option — Hard 16 (except 8-8) vs dealer 9, 10, A. Hard 15 vs dealer 10. Surrendering in these situations pays off in the long run.
If you get a weak card after Doubling Down (like Hard 14 or 15), use the Rescue option. Using this feature correctly reduces losses.
Spanish 21 has medium variance. Bring 10–15% of your total budget per session. If you hit special payouts, set that profit aside.
